Imaqtpie and Dyrus return to the Rift to save LCS fans
Over the past few days, we’ve seen a number of updates and plenty of drama surrounding the LCS. Players and teams have threatened to strike and pull-out of the North American league, and Riot in response have delayed the LCS for 2 weeks whilst agreements are made.
But, NA fans, things may finally be looking up for you! To save you from your lack of on-screen talent (which is actually still true even when LCS is running), former pro players turned popular streamers are returning to your screens. To fill the gap DSG, who recently announced they will be participating in the upcoming NA Challenger League, will be hosting a showmatch against the former Delta Fox roster.
The teams will be hitting the rift at 2pm PST on June 1st. It is yet to be announced if there will be casters for the event, or if the individual players will be streaming themselves.
Delta Fox, sister team to parent organisation Echo Fox, closed its roster after contracts expired back in 2017. The players from the team have individually and collectively continued to stream and have grown in popularity as they have. The roster was comprised of:
- @scarra
- @Imaqtpielol
- @Shiphtur
- @Dyrus
- @Voyboy
We can’t wait to see these players head back to the rift in what will undoubtedly be a fiesta of epic proportions.
Unfortunately, with the short notice before the match takes place it is unlikely that any betting markets will be made available. If any arise before the match starts we will update this post.
